THE FUN WAREHOUSE ROLLER SKATING INDEMNITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Venue: The Fun Warehouse Indoor Roller Rink, Mafikeng
1. Acknowledgement of Risk
I acknowledge that roller skating and participation in activities at The Fun Warehouse involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: falling, slipping, or colliding with other participants or objects; injury resulting from use of roller skates, equipment, or facilities; physical strain, bruises, fractures, or other bodily harm. I voluntarily choose to participate despite these risks.
2. Assumption of Responsibility
I confirm that: I am physically fit and able to participate in skating activities; I will follow all safety rules, instructions, and staff directions; I will use equipment responsibly and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
3. Indemnity and Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, I hereby: Release and hold harmless The Fun Warehouse, its owners, employees, volunteers, instructors, and representatives from any claims, damages, injury, loss, or liability arising from participation in activities at the venue; Indemnify The Fun Warehouse against any claims brought by or on behalf of myself, my child, or any third party arising from my participation. This applies whether injury or loss arises from negligence or otherwise, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
4. Equipment Use
I understand that: Protective gear is strongly recommended; Rental equipment must be used properly; I am responsible for loss or damage to equipment issued to me.
5. Medical Treatment
I consent to receiving emergency medical treatment if necessary. I accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred.
6. Personal Property
The Fun Warehouse is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.
7. Minors
For participants under 18 years: I confirm that I am the parent/legal guardian and consent to the minor's participation. I accept full responsibility for the minor and agree to this indemnity on their behalf.
8. Photography & Media
I grant permission for photographs or videos taken at The Fun Warehouse to be used for promotional purposes, unless I submit a written opt-out request.
9. Website Acceptance (Electronic Signature)
By selecting "I Agree" and/or completing an online booking, I confirm that: I have read and understood this indemnity; I agree voluntarily and without coercion; This electronic acceptance is legally binding.
By completing a booking on our website, you electronically agree to the terms above. This agreement is legally binding under South African law.
